'Yellowstone' Fans, We Found Your Next Favorite Shows

We know what we're doing this weekend... Yellowstone was the most-watched show on TV last year, and for good reason. The Dutton family drama truly has it all, from drama to action to romance. And we can't get enough of that gorgeous Montana setting. But if there's one thing the show doesn't have, it's enough episodes to keep us occupied! And even though season 5 came back on November 13 with a whopping 14 episodes, we still are left wanting more. That's where this list comes in! We rounded up 20 shows worth watching if Yellowstone left you yearning for more family drama. Where some of the shows portray the same Wild West ideals (hello, Deadwood and Longmire), others (like The Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy) hone in on the crime and family drama aspects that Yellowstone viewers have come to know, love, and expect with each episode. The good news? All of these shows are available to stream online through apps like HBO Max, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, and Hulu. Now, as we wait for November 13, the only question is which show will fill the void?

What The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Actors Look Like in Real Life

Here's what the cast looks like when they're not in their Middle-earth costumes. One of the most anticipated shows of 2022—and surely the most expensive–is Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, a prequel set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Per Prime Video, the show will "take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness." The characters that populate The Rings of Power are elves, dwarves, harfoots, and some humans. But out of their Middle-earth costumes, these fantastical characters are actors and actresses from around the world. Here, see what the cast of The Rings of Power looks like in real life:

The haunting (& sometimes hilarous) last words of famous folks

Whether it's a witty quip, a bitter scolding, or a piece of wisdom, our last words sometimes remain like ghosts after we leave the stage of life. Here is a roundup of some iconic final words said by famous people.

The famous friends of Jeffrey Epstein

On August 10, 2019, Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell after being charged with sex trafficking of a minor. But the disgraced multimillionaire was suspected of committing sex crimes against underage girls long before his arrest in 2019. Survivors who came forward said that he assaulted girls as young as 14 years old. They claim that he would invite vulnerable teen girls, often from troubled backgrounds, to his mansion to give him massages, after which he would eventually sexually assault them and pay them. His exceptional manipulation skills and wealth allegedly allowed him to build a network of 'sex slaves,' who would recruit even more girls for him. It's also alleged that he flew his favorites around the world with him and shared them with his famous friends. There are claims that important figures such as Hollywood producers, politicians, and British royals may have been involved. Bill Gates was one of many powerful people whose association with Epstein was revealed in 2019 when his sex-trafficking ring finally came crashing down. Gates told Anderson Cooper in a 2021 interview that it was a "huge mistake" to spend time with Epstein. The Microsoft founder admitted to meeting him on several occasions for dinners, hoping to raise money for his philanthropic causes, even though he had concerns about Epstein and was aware of his past conviction for child prostitution. Gates reiterated those sentiments during a tense interview with Australia’s ABC 7.30 presenter Sarah Ferguson, who asked if he “regrets the relationship he maintained” with Epstein, going against his ex-wife Melinda’s advice. Gates replied curtly, “I shouldn’t have had dinners with him." Ferguson asked if Melinda had warned him of Epstein's way of "sexually compromising people," and Gates said no. Ferguson also asked if Gates regrets the relationship between the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Epstein, to which he replied, "There never was any relationship of any kind." Click through the following gallery to learn more, and see which other notable figures were friends with Epstein before his downfall.

The Most Anticipated Netflix Original Movies of 2023

With Chris Hemsworth, Pamela Anderson, and Adam Sandler on the docket, buckle up—it’s going to be a big year for you and your couch. Attention movie theater lovers: I hate to say it, but 2023 might be the year of Netflix. The streamer just dropped a trailer for its upcoming releases, and it looks like Netflix has quite a few surprises up its sleeve. As usual, the streaming service will also release loads of new television series too, but Netflix seems hellbent on rounding out their original films. Is the streamer returning to its roots? After all, Netflix was originally a movie-delivery service—and after obliterating Blockbuster, not once, but twice, this is the least it could do. Moving on. This year, Netflix will offer its subscribers a host of new films, hailing from every genre imaginable. The early offerings include the tell-all documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, along with the delightful looking rom-com, Your Place or Mine, and (hopefully!) more time in the bunker with Chris Hemsworth in Extraction 2. So buckle up — it’s going to be a big year for you and your couch. To make the selection process easier, dear reader, Esquire has parsed through the streamers upcoming releases and curated a list of what should be on your watchlist.
